random stuff.

everybody surfs





been gloomy mornings with no light to shoot photos. that and i've been fighting to get all the waves i can in that short dawn hour. here's some random stuff from the past week or so.


the lower pic is porto this morning. we call this good.

HB this AM.

a lot of backside surfing with those NW lines. a lot of bad backside surfing. choppy, soupy, walled. still fun.

it got better as more water came into the pool, but it still wasn't great. bumpy bumpy. tomorrow will be better.....

i hope.

Another day at the cove.

harley HATED this trash can. It was really out of place, so I can't blame him too much. Probably a good mile+ from any road.



not really any swell, but two people were out there using every millimeter of those logs.


the birds didn't care whether or not there was swell.

harley don't surf...

had a solo session at junk avenues broken up by about 8 high school kids. no surf pics.... later in the day we went on a walk.
it wasn't good enough for harley, but these guys were having fun.

Time was limited this morning, waves had some punch and there was a crowd out there so no water pics. Took owen down and got his feet in the wet sand and water of the Pacific for the first time this afternoon....
